I am an experienced senior manager in both Government and the NGO sectors. Most recently I was the Chief Executive the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society overseeing many conservation achievements and I led the drive towards a stronger organisation and a more professionally run staff structure. I championed collaboration with iwi on environmental issues, including Treaty of Waitangi settlements.
My government experience includes Assistant Director of Fish & Game New Zealand, senior private secretary and Executive Assistant to successive Ministers of Conservation and Chief Internal Auditor and Chief Lands Office for the Department of Conservation.
